When we decided to sell our home, we looked for an agent with familiarity and ties to our community. For years, we followed the Higgins’ column in our neighborhood newspaper. The Higgins knew so much about our area. We also harbored concerns about leaving our home for sale from a distance. Though we moved out of state, we needn’t have worried. At our initial meeting, the Higgins walked through the listing agreement process and how the sales process changed from our purchase in 1997. In addition, their use of technology really aided in the sales process. Though we moved prior to any showing, the photo tours really showed our home off in the best light. The lighting and staging were quite professional. Each week we received reports on showings, internet viewings and updates about any changes or issues in our home. I can't recommend Cathy Higgins enough as a real estate agent. She was very responsive to my calls, extremely professional and her years of experience showed in her knowledge of the real estate market. What impressed me the most was her integrity, her patience and her compassion with me as her client. I had already secured a buyer for one of the homes I was selling. Cathy was honest enough to inform me that since I already had the buyer, all I needed was an attorney, not her services. This saved me thousands of dollars.
